چکیده
Abstract We analyzed nanographite-based materials in a combined study including experimental analysis via 4-point probe STM and simulation to provide complete picture of microscopic macroscopic properties the material. The two- three-dimensional transport regimes were determined evaluated regarding anisotropy conductivity. results yield full conductivity tensor. Microstructural simulations are used map those building blocks sample. By combining two, we present coherent comprehensive description electrical material parameters across several length scales.

Gas adsorption properties of graphene-based materials.
Clean energy sources and global warming are among the major challenges of the 21st century. One of the possible actions toward finding alternative energy sources and reducing global warming are storage of H2 and CH4, and capture of CO2 by using highly efficient and low-cost adsorbents. Graphene and graphene-based materials attracted a great attention around the world because of their potential ...

A discovery of the unusual thermal properties of graphene stimulated experimental, theoretical and computational research directed at understanding phonon transport and thermal conduction in two-dimensional material systems. We provide a critical review of recent results in the graphene thermal field focusing on phonon dispersion, specific heat, thermal conductivity, and comparison of different...
متن کاملCharge-transport properties of prototype molecular materials for organic electronics based on graphene nanoribbons.
The semiconducting properties of molecular material prototypes for graphene nanoribbons are rationalized by quantum-chemical calculations. The present contribution focuses on the hole transport properties of circum(oligo)acenes and compares the intrinsic efficiency of these materials for charge transport in the hopping regime with respect to the (oligo)acenes parent compounds. The results at th...
متن کاملUnusual transport properties in carbon based nanoscaled materials: nanotubes and graphene
The massless Dirac particle moving at the speed of light has been a fascinating subject in relativistic quantum physics. Nanoscale graphitic materials, such as carbon nanotubes and graphene, now provide us with an opportunity to investigate such exotic effects in low-energy condensed matter systems. The unique electronic band structure of graphene lattice provides a linear dispersion relation w...
